The side channel turbines that we produce are made using a die-cast aluminium alloy and guarantee excellent performance together with complete reliability thanks to the precise workmanship of the mechanical shims.
This patented valve is included in all COYNCO machines, allowing reverse airflow from the turbine either manually, using a simple mechanism, or automatically by means of a friction gear motor that can be regulated.
Inlet – Outlet – Filter Shake Manifold
Patented together with the reverse flow valve, this manifold is fixed underneath the valve and consists of two tubes. The first is the inlet, to which a double HEPA filter can be applied, and the other is the outlet, which holds a spring and a piston that, by moving up and down, hits the base of the filter at a high frequency creating the vibrations necessary to clean the primary filter perfectly, assuring enhanced efficiency over time.
Our polyester cartridge filters have a layer of aluminium that makes them conductive and subsequently antistatic, which is necessary for discharge of electrostatic forces that are generated with the suction of dust, especially very fine particles.
The use of an extremely smooth surface also allows dust to slip away when the filter is vibrated, which guarantees constant high suction performance.
The fundamental difference between the two types of filter is that the polyester cartridge filters through the surface unlike non-woven fabric ones that filter through the thickness of the material, which not only limits the airflow causing a loss in efficiency over time but also creates an internal build-up of dust that can only be removed manually using compressed air.
Patented and created using INOX steel, it prevents direct contact of sucked material with the filter and assists in the cyclone effect.
The special slits cut into the upper part of the protection guarantee a well-balanced suction airflow giving low speed on the base that stops the descending dust and the dust already inside the container from moving around and being sucked onto the filter.
In our search to maximize practicality together with respect for the working conditions of the operator, we created the BAG models, which use continuous LONGOPAC® bags for waste collection. The principal characteristic of these machines is that the sucked material is easily sealed and disposed of without the usual emptying of conventional drums that result in dust being dispersed into the air and inhaled by the operator. The bag is 20 metres in length and the amount of waste determines the size of the bag that can then be quickly sealed and removed so the machine doesn’t have to stop for bag changes and is always ready for use.

Unlike common wet vacuum cleaners, COYNCO machines don’t require the removal of the filter during the suction of liquids, allowing them to effortlessly suck modest quantities of dust without changing the configuration. The filter is protected by an INOX steel coating to prevent liquids from entering in contact with the filter unit, which remains completely dry. The lower part of the protection is conical to allow the float to stop suction when the level of liquid has risen.
It is possible to equip the machine with a submersible pump for suction of very large quantities of material, guaranteeing continuous operation with a compact machine. The problem of pump clogging, which can be found in conventional machine shop vacuum cleaners, is overcome thanks to the reverse flow technology that uses air to remove obstructions, allowing a clear passage for liquids, or sludge.
Side channel turbine or brush motors?
For industrial vacuum cleaners, the main difference is the choice between brush motors that are used in commercial or professional vacuum cleaners and those that run using side channel turbines. The most important factor to consider is the designated use of the machine. When continuous or very frequent use is required, it is preferable to use models with side channel turbines as brush motors don’t last as long and must be replaced over time. Side channel turbines don’t present these problems, even when there are required to operate non-stop.
What does ATEX mean? And when do I need it?
The ATEX directive certifies the presence of the necessary requisites for vacuum cleaners, turbines and other machinery that can safely operate in the presence of gas, mist and or dust that could cause a risk of explosion. Coynco, as a manufacturer, is required to supply a suitable vacuum cleaner based on a prior declaration from the client stating the zone where the machine will be used. The presence and quantity of potentially explosive gas, mist or dust must be considered in order to define the characteristics of the environment where the vacuum cleaner will be used.

What type of maintenance does my vacuum cleaner need?
It is necessary to follow the indications for use and maintenance detailed in the manual that comes with the machine. Careful maintenance carried out after each use is important in order to keep the machine in good condition. It’s also essential to keep the filters clean by moving the appropriate lever to operate the ‘shake filter’ and add HEPA filters for intake of fine dust particles that pass through the primary filter.
How do I choose the right vacuum cleaner?

Why is it important to choose the correct power for the job?
Coynco offers a range of vacuum cleaners from those that use 2 or 3 brush motors to side channel turbines with 2.2 kW single-phase, 3.4 kW single-phase or 5.5 kW dual-stage three-phase motors. It is incredibly important to choose the right motor for the job if you want the get the best performance from your vacuum cleaner. For example, fine dust is very light and therefore doesn’t require such powerful suction so it is recommended to use a single phase turbine but with a filter that has a greater surface area to reduce the problems of rapid clogging. The more powerful vacuum cleaners, like the 5.5 kW or 11 kW models, are necessary for the removal of heavy materials that need a greater airflow.
When I use my vacuum cleaner, dust passes through the filter… what can I do?
In some cases, like removing dust produced from floor sanding, plasma cutting, in chemical, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industries or, more generally, in the removal of fine or very fine dust particles, it is possible that these particles are not retained by the primary filter and return into the atmosphere.
What should I do?
– Check under the filter for the following are in position: the holding ring with the rubber part positioned against the filter, spring and lobe-knob.
– Check that the inlet valve is screwed in sufficiently so that the seal around the filter is positioned against/in contact with the cover of the vacuum cleaner.
– If the problem persists after checking that the filter is correctly in place, the dust is probably too fine (less than 3 micron) and it would be advisable to install a HEPA filter inside the primary filter. .
