This custom designed system was originally designed and is suited for retrofit to plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting tables where water cutting beds are involved, thereby eliminating the possibility of incorporating a downdraft style smoke capture system within the table itself.

The basic system components of the MAXTRAC control system are an aluminum high velocity capture hood which is fitted to the table’s gantry in close proximity to the cutting torches, intermediate lightweight transitional ducting, a movable trolley and custom designed MAXTRAC ductwork along with an exhaust fan or fume collection system.
