 MAX FIXAIR-DD DOWNDRAFT TABLES INSTALLATION

Shown in the photo above is our MAX FIXAIR MINI-DD self contained down draft table which operates on 115 volts, therefore it is truly mobile in the sense that it can be used anywhere there is standard wall current. This unit houses two cartridge filters which are cleaned with compressed air by-way of the integrated reverse pulse jet cleaning system. The table is available with a number of different table top work surfaces to suit most applications.

We pride ourselves in the ability to listen to a customers requires and react accordingly. This table was built with a downdraft and back draft capability in addition to an overhead ‘pushair’ plenum, whereby some of the filtered air is introduced over the operator’s head to enhance the downward flow in the suction table. Plexiglas sides and a light fixture complete the work enclosure.

This stand alone table was constructed for a deburring table complete with a dust proof light fixture, side guards and a HEPA after-filter which can be seen on the top of the unit. The main filter cartridges are cleaned by an integral pulse jet cleaning system.

Once again, we let the customer’s need guide our design. This table has been constructed with the operator’s requirements in mind in that we have integrated all related services within the work space. Sound absorbing material lines the interior work surfaces. A series of dust proof neon fixtures provide ample lighting. An ergonomically design sloped hopper allows the operator to sit at the table is so desired. Compressed air and electrical supply for the related tools has been worked into the table envelope.

This downdraft table was designed as an economical alternative to the pulse jet cleaning model, where light dust loading is involved. The multi-stage filter system combines both permanent washable primary stage filters and disposable second stage media filters. This unit operates on 115 volts thereby minimizing the installation costs by eliminating the need for an electrician and the expense of a special electrical circuit.

In addition to integrated tables where the filters, blower and motor are housed within the body of the table, we offer several designs where a stand alone table can be built and ducted (hard pipe) to an existing remotely located dust collector.
